Anyone in the acute care residency going to 5 north?

I decided to go with Piedmont!! andrearose what floor did they say you would be on?

So I have an offer with Gwinnett medical Duluth er and piedmont med/surg. Any advice??

Can you apply to more then one residency?

I am graduating and applying the the Feb 2013 residency. I was curious as to if you apply just to the general residency or if you apply to a specific residency like acute care. I didn't know if it would look bad to apply to multiple areas.

I know I am way ahead of the game, I graduate in December, but I was curious as to when they started accepting applications for the residency at Piedmont for Spring. I am wondering when I should be on the look out for the application for the Fall. I ...

I just called and I am on the alternate list. I am pretty excited I just have to keep waiting...

I was told that around 260 applied which is a lot less then applied for fall 2010. 14 people have already been accepted for priority?

my cum. gpa was a 3.15 and my pre-req gpa was a 3.5

I called and asked...they said that the number of people who applied worked against me. She said my gpa just was just below the lowest gpa they accepted. She also said they had never had this many applicants before.

I just found out I did not get in. I am pretty disappointed. I am thinking about applying again for next semester but I am not sure if my odds would be any better. Good luck to everyone.

Where did you hear that? I thought they had 60 spots...They told me they had only filled a few spots with people who applied for early decision.

if you don't mind me asking...did they say what you needed to fix before applying again for fall '10?

I just called to change my address and she said that they will be sending out notifications in the middle of March. I was hoping we would be finding out in 2 weeks.

Does anyone know if the people who qualified for early admission have been notified if they have been accepted or not?
