    Read some of the other posts here...hospitals are not taking LPNs anymore, and the ones that still do are forcing their LPNs to get their RN...soon all will go the way of RN. Something to think about...

    there's Kaiser, which is private and pretty expensive, there is always the LPN track, then do the Bridge program over to RN or BSN...that should eliminate competition from the accelerated and generic...

    sounds fishy to me...if it's not "on the record" from the school themselves, I am not sure that an advisor would stick their neck out (at least intentionally) and say something that is not true...then...
