Just remember, when you graduate and get your job and one day this "student " comes up to you and asks for help.....remember how you were treated, how you felt, and how nervous you were to ask the nurse a question when you were a student.

Its a great nursing program. I'm in the regular BSN not accelerated. Most of the people in the acc. seem to like it. It is just fast and furious with very short breaks between semesters.

Each hopsital should have their own protocol.

In mobile you can start out anywhere from 18 -22 an hour with benefits. Abq, new mexico starts out at 18 an hour at all 5 hospitals.

I just got back from the lovelace trip also. I'm really considering a move out to NM once I graduate. I'm just nervous that I wont mix with the people there. I didn't notice many young workers in the hospitals. We'll see what happens.

Add one more male to the pot. I'm one of 5 males in a class that is now down to 38. We've lost 1 male and 9 females through 3 semesters of nursing school with 2 more to go. The one good thing is that every teacher knows your name.
