    I Passsssssed!

Amen to that SeanRN. The Holy Spirit was with me also. I was thanking Jesus all the way for allowing me to pass before I was done and the computer shut off at 75 questions. It was the hardest test I've taken in my life, I owe it all to God.

    What didya think?....worried

I took my test on the 23rd and it stopped at 75 questions. I had a lot of priority questions, no math, and a couple of peds and OB. I absolutely did not know what questions to choose. I believed that I failed. The questions were getting harder and harder. I've never seen them before. I kept praying and reciting bible verses, especially Isaiah 41:13, "For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." I'm telling you it was God that helped me because I found out this morning that I pass. Thank you Lord.

    Med Surg 'final' from hell

Wow. This sounds like my own experience in my Med Surg class. But we only had 3 exams. We couldn't believe we were in danger of failing. The exams were out of this world and we all studied like crazy. But at the end we were all excited to receive our C's and fortunately many of the students passed the class. It's crazy to see how other people are going through the same exact struggles. Congratulations on making it.

how long does it take to get your grades

I knew what grade I got for Nursing I but I needed my grades posted inorder to register for next semester!! Our semester was over on the 12/12 and grades were posted 12/17. The system was extremely busy that day.

    What is/was your hardest class?

I just started my Nursing program. Pharmacology was difficult for me but it was very interesting.

Just not cut out for nursing

If it wasn't for my so called fear of blood, vomit, etc. I would have gotten into nursing years ago. Now I find that these things wouldn't bother me as much as I thought they would.

    Set you up to fail?

Thank you all for your replies. I'm glad to see that I was not the only one disgusted in class. My only regret is that I could have gotten a higher passing grade if I did not procrastinate. That was my fault.

    Set you up to fail?

I just completed and passed my first nursing class and I'm excited to move on to clinicals next year. It was difficult, but I made it. Many students did not make it and I've talked with a few who believe that the school purposely set them up to fail. Some of them believe that there's this conspiracy to have only a few students graduate even when there's a nursing shortage. I myself don't believe in this "conspiracy" not because I was one of the few who passed because I believe I'm in control of whether I pass or fail. The one thing I didn't like is when the faculty and staff would mention that half of the students who were currently in the nursing program would not pass. Some people automatically gave up (subconsciously) when they heard this while others were determined to pass. I was determine to pass even when I procrastinated from beginning to end. I'm tired of students who refuse to own up to their own mistakes. They need to stop blaming others.
