    SCOTT&WHITE nursing internship

Thanks for the info. I'll be moving by myself. No kids. My goal really is to be nearest to the hospital since I will be there almost eveyday I assume. I considered living halfway between temple and Austin but I think the commute would be too much of a hassle. Plus I was really hoping to maybe ride my bike to work. Not even sure if that's possible given I don't know the road situation. I'd really love to hear from anyone else moving out there for the internship or anyone currently living there. I won't be able to make it out there until May 21st. Thanks in advance!

    SCOTT&WHITE nursing internship

Congratulations!!!! And thanks!! Do you have to move to Temple? I am trying to figure out the beat area to live near the hospital but since I've never ever been to Texas it's kinda hard. Any tips would help!

Hi everyone. I just found out i'm in the ICU internship!! Yippee!! I am wondering if anyone else who got in is relocating from California??? I am coming from San Diego. Big change but I couldn't be more excited! Also, I have yet to receive my new hire packet but is it true the start date is June 7?

    University of Oklahoma-Accelerated BSN Program

I was told I had to take the TOEFL since I was born abroad, but I filled out the waiver. Kennessa or Alexandra should be able to figure out your GPA's for you. I remember them saying they could give "an estimate" so I am not sure what they mean by that. But I think they just say that since they are not supposed to be a part of the acceptance process. Hope this helps.

    University of Oklahoma-Accelerated BSN Program

Hi Angela, I wish I could be more helpful with study tips for those classes, but it's been so long since I took them and I don't remember what I did (that is worth mentioning at least), but I do remember that Micro was my fave and the easiest for me. I remember it being a lot of memorization as far as the different bacterias and stuff that you'll learn. The best thing I can say is make the best of it...it's actually kinda fun (in a dorky way :wink2:) Chem on the other hand, not so fun, but a lot of math, which isn't so bad if you're good with numbers. Good luck with those! You can do it.

    University of Oklahoma-Accelerated BSN Program

I just barely made the cutoff for the pre-req/science GPA (2.5) and I was accepted. I guess I thought i'd share that for those of you who may be discouraged b/c of your grades, but i'm proof that there is hope! I was nervous that I didnt stand a chance, but like they say, they really do look at your application as a whole. Good Luck everyone who is still on the prowl for a program...I so know how you feel.
