When I took it last year, I used the HESI Admission Assessment Study Guide, and that helped me. It looks like the book DIC Harwould suggested might be better, but I figured I'd let ya know anyway :) Are you taking it soon?

I know they mentioned the three ring binder, and a folder to keep papers in. So, I'm going just going to get that and a notebook. I figure that they'll go over everything again the first day of classes, so I'll get anything else I need then.

According to our packet/bookstore, it's Fundamentals of Nursing, The Art and Science of Nursing Care, and listed underneath is the DVD Skills video. I'm wondering if this is a package that just GCC offers?

I must sound like an idiot... But everywhere online I've seen the book, it doesn't say anything about DVDs with it....just the back of book CD-ROM. That's not the same thing, right?

So should I just buy the complete package from the book store, rather than buy the book somewhere else? Or can I purchase the DVDs separately?

I'm wondering, does it matter if I get my textbooks from school or somewhere else? Do I lose anything valuable by getting my books somewhere else, or do they all include the same things?
