I had to take the computer literacy test before I applied to ISU and was not enrolled at any school. To my knowledge just take you CLEP tests and then send your scores to ISU as you have said. That is what I did.

Just try to find the study guides online or on this site if you know which classes you need. I would not advise using TCN either. It costs a lot of money and I am sure you could find what you need somewhere!

Only the study guides come from TCN, you can take the exam at any testing center at local university or Sylvan learning center.

The only way to find out for certain is to check with TCN. My CSMs have a copyright 2006 but not sure if anything changed. TCN's website or customer service can check if you have the newest version.
