I'm not a nurse yet but I would think a hug and sitting holding their hand or just touching them lightly on the arm would mean alot to them. Just be a good listener. Great question.

I got the flu last year too. I think more people did than ever before. I think they missed a strain? or something like that. Likely as not I'll take it again this year.

No one can make you take the flu vaccine they can however ask you to sign a form that says you decline to take it. It's no big deal.

You already knew that so what is the point? To reach the physician on call push #1. If this is an emergency please go directly to the ER. Doctors cover for each other that's the way it works. You won't reach the 15 doctors you specifically called.
