You have a very good point there...but I am still not sure how to bring it up to them. Do I just go "I know somebody who was denied an interview this year, but received an admission letter, and i was...
From what I know, she applied last year, was offered an interview, but was rejected. Rejected as in not wait listed...as in completely rejected. She applied this year, and was not offered an...
Yah, I was quite baffled she got the acceptance letter at all. To me, I just found it to be rather unfair to the rest of us. I'm not saying this because I'm bitter that she got an acceptance with no...
@ janfrn, she was rejected. She got a rejection letter last year (not waitlisted, the usual we are regretful that we can not accept you due to high competition, but do try again next year kind of...
Ah that makes sense. But she was rejected and not wait listed, so that just seem odd to me that's all. As well when I visited UBC today, they said they do not retain applicant information from past...
Hmm, I just heard some pretty strange rumour, and I'm not sure how much to trust it. I really hope its a mistake, because if it isn't, I'm going to feel cheated. This girl I know applied last year,...
yeah, I actually went to UBC Hospital to ask them the same thing just now. My place on the wait list isn't high, so I'm a bit worried. She said that last year ~20 people from the waitlist got in, and...
where did you hear the 85% from! Cuz that's really an astronomical number!! haha, no I'm not assuming I didn't get in yet (I'm the type to think that the glass is half full, not empty), but I do want...
hi lazz1, thanks for the positive vibe. Do you know how many people are on the wait list, and by good chance, how good of a chance is that? Because I am wondering if I should apply for some other...
I am also curious about the breakdown. I have emailed them to ask them how many people are on the wait list...I THINK the number of people on the wait list should be around the number of people they...
I agree with coastliving. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I was there for the full 2 hours, and no there is no essay at the end. Just have confidence in yourself =)
...I stilll can't find any interview info on the ubc nursing site. Anybody care to give me a pointer? And yes! It'd be fun to go grab a snack after the ordeal's over
To prepare for the interview, I'm going to read as much as I can about nursing...the code of ethics, the nurses' responsibilities..stuff like that. As for accommodation, maybe you can find a homestay...
I think it'd be a bit hard to practice scenario questions...I think the best thing to do is just to read up as much as you can about nursing so that you go to the interview prepared with a background...
Because the numbers given are averages only, I'm positive that there are people with lower than the average GPA that got an interview invitation. Your supplementary application is ranked against all...
oh thanks =) If you don't mind me asking, what was the average of both? Just out of curiosity's sake. No rush to get back to me on this. Just if you have time
Sorry but I don't know the finer details...I know as much as the website tells me. This is my first time applying too...I got lucky and was able to google that page up. Keep in mind that that's last...
