    I found it!!! It was in an AORN journal, I made a copy and gave it to my manager...I will try to find it again to give exact info but I think it was in the AORN Recommended Practices and Standards...

    They are Protectiv IVs ... Thank you all for the encouragement! I asked my preceptor to start an IV for me today because I was doing something else (he can get any stick)..2people and over 2 hours...

    Well I started 2 IV's over the weekend (successfully)..their ivs are just so different...hard to get used to. Missed one start and had to get help...and begged off the start on the 550 pound patient...
