I'm currently enrolled in a Clinical nurse leader masters program but found a MSN program for case management. I'm currently working as a case manager and love it but I'm not sure if I should switch programs. I only have my ADN and having my MSN i...
I took my NCLEX today and got a weird pop up. It was NOT the credit card pop up. It says "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time". I keep reading that the good pop up has t...
I am looking for information specifically on a resident admitted from the hospital (with a qualifying 3 day stay) to our snf with a new NG tube. Are we able to skill this patient and if so what are the requirements? >51% daily? I am searching t...
Hello my fellow coordinators! I have a silly question because I was recently informed that my resident with a bka to both lower extremities should be coded as 0/0 for G0400. So now I am thrown off with this section. Please someone help me clarify ...

If I were you I would grab the opportunity to do what you love and leave ltc. I've been a MDS nurse in ltc for 4 years and I am so depressed because of how the upper management treats us. We are degraded and humiliated in the meetings when we do no...

Moving from lying to sitting is bed mobility. It is coded as transfers when they move between surfaces like bed to w/c. Bed mobility includes positioning in bed or other furniture. My apologies for those that are rudely answering you. We all have...
I work at 2 different cooporations. I was wondering if there is a general rule about filling out section B, C and J for the resident interview when the resident has an unplanned discharge and the interview is not made. At one of my jobs I just put ...
I am asking this because I received 2 different answers from my RAI director. If a resident has a healed stage 1, do we still mark it as healed under "M0900" even though there is no option to check stage 1 below that section. Also, I know we don't...

What about a 5 day assessment that is done prior to the admission. Sometimes I am unable to do the assessment until about 3-4 days later and they discharge.
