    I would get out now. If a hospital won't keep their icu monitors working, what else isn't working?? It would up to the doc's to order Tele monitoring vs. icu monitoring wouldn't it??

    And there are still people that think LTC is easy!!! We all know it isn't. You sound like you need a big break. I worked LTC for 9 years and I don't think I could go back.

    Tough situation... In the acute phase of illness you hope and try for recovery. If things go well, everyone is happy. If things end quickly no one is happy, but there is a focus to the pain....
