  1. Psych NP - USA, UND, EKU ?

I second the recent feedback on UND's PMHNP degree. Three major curriculum / program overhauls in less than two years. Most of the good instructors are gone. It's really unfortunate. I chose this program due to its reputation, and that rep is no long...

  7. Dr. Oz says energy medicine the next big thing

I'm surprised to see you post this, Josh. No disrespect intended, but acupuncture points align with meridians which have everything to do with the flow of energy through the human body. My sister and I both study with an internationally reknowned act...
  8. Dr. Oz says energy medicine the next big thing

I am really glad to see this thread here!! I looked into Healing Touch after working in critical care for three years, and joined the American Holistic Nurse Association. I have not taken healing touch classes as yet, as I am more interested in Energ...
  9. Moving to Colorado

I don't trust salary.com. What it lists for a BSN newly passed boards and in first year of pracitice is so far above what I make. Not sure, but last I heard it can be between 12 and 17 dollars an hour.
  10. New Nurse Salary

I just have to say the mojority of y'all are really lucky. I'm just outside of Denver - working in a hospital in the metro area. My new grad pay with experience is $19.50. No chance for raise for one year, $1K sign on at time of hire, second 1K after...
