Our school has an optional class you can take to learn venipuncture. I'm seriously thinking of taking that just for the heck of it so that I can have practice & the know-how before I have to do...
:chair: I like ER too :chair: Sure, it's innacurate on many levels, but it's still entertaining to me. And I'll miss Romano too. He was a jerk that I just loved to hate.
Not sure...but if you do a quick search on the internet with LPN Hospice as the search keywords, it brings up some job postings. You might want to look at those & perhaps call the facilities...
If you've already been going to school at U of A for 2 years, doesn't that mean you only have 2 more years left in your 4 year degree? I guess I'm a little confused here. I'd stick with the...

I've taken a few distance learning classes through Sinclair. Only ALH 103 & 104 so far. Getting ready to take PSY 208 as print-based distance learning next quarter. ALH 103 I took on videotape...
((((hrjqtpie)))) :kiss I feel for ya. I was a single mother with a rather difficult young daughter once. It was a trying time...and I wasn't even entertaining the idea of going back to school...
If you can do the BSN, then do it. For me, because of finances, I am going the Associates route. I've got a BA in Psych as well...just started back to school this spring for nursing. I can't afford...

With an associates, you'd be considered an RN (when you pass the NCLEX, that is). BSN will get you into management, etc, but just by being an RN (no matter how you get there) you'll be able to work...
Good golly...what does your bf want? To be joined at the hip? Sounds to me like you're giving him plenty of attention considering the situation. I don't see my husband much at all & he's ok...
Some of the verbal stuff wasn't too hard, in my opinion, but some of them were fairly represented in the study guide. Oh and I forgot to mention before...study up on some geometry too. I recall...
Yep! I took the PAX-RN in early autumn of this year. I did really well on it (got into the 98-99 percentile in each section), but parts of it were rather tough. I got a review book (probably the...

I haven't heard anything about this program (bad or good), but I have heard of it. The only program I know anything about down in Cincy is at UC since a friend of mine is going to be going there....
That's all part & parcel of going to a religious school. They're not that bad. Look at them as a philosophy class or history class if you are not religious. I took an eastern religion course...
An instructor of mine suggested vicks or a dab of cologne on the shoulder of your uniform/lab coat so that you can take a whiff of that when you need to. Another suggested popping a small mint before...
Hi Mike! Welcome to the board! :) I'm a second career nursing student right now & it totally depends on what you want to do. I'm going to Sinclair Community College in Dayton and the tuition...

There's another RN-BSN program in Dayton thru Capital University (see http://www.capital.edu) It's not an online course, but they don't meet but 2x a week from what I hear, which isn't too terrible....

Have you looked at any local community colleges? Sometimes they have training classes too. That's where I'm taking mine (it's a requirement for my ADN). If all else fails contact: Dept of Hlth NA...
Oookay. Yikes "Shut up and color", eh? Nice. Real nice. Not exactly helping anyone learn by having that attitude now are you? Sorry you had a bad student or whatever, but that generalization...

Those that got two weeks probably did so if they did not already have CNA status. They probably went through the CNA training during that time...not unusual. If you already have had the CNA...

Congrats on the job! I'm going to be doing my CNA clinicals there at Hickory Creek in a few weeks. I've heard it's a nice facility. :) Good luck with Kettering
Yeah, I know...I meant that wearing a cap for pinning or nursing class graduation type stuff/ceremonies should be ok. Mortarboards then for the school graduation ceremonies. In the CNA training class...
Probably wouldn't wear one to work, but don't see the problem with wearing them for pinning/graduation ceremonies or pictures. After all, I wore a morterboard for my graduation from high school &...
