    most students bring their books and study materials on mondays b/c there is a 4 hour gap between process and pharm. if you can, stay on campus. don't go home b/c this is a good time to study, read, review lecture notes, etc.

    may session is more challenging b/c the nursing courses are only 6 weeks instead of 8. also, pharm is only 13 weeks instead of 16. although, it doesn't sound like that great of a difference. those few weeks can make a difference.

    no. you apply to the nursing program. when you get accepted, you are in the program. when it is time to register, you register for the campus you wish to attend. then, you are supposed to stay at that campus for the entire program.

    i got mine at the broward health dept. for $42/shot. yes, they have all brands (cheroke, dickies, peaches, baby phat, grey's anatomy, etc.) and they are reasonable priced.

    i didn't start working until the 3rd semester. i wouldn't advice anyone to work during the first semester, but people do it. i can't say because south's dean has different requirements.

    i had a similar issue with a&p. luckily when i applied, the program wasn't as competitive. so, my c from 1996 didn't affect me. technically, i'm still in the program. but i'm done with all of my coursework. i'm graduating this fri., aug 7!!

    as of now, if a student differs, they just start the next semester. i heard this may change in the future. if you get an a in chm, you'll have a 3.35 gpa, which may be good enough to get accepted. take chm and give it a shot!

    i did a titer for everything except the ppd and the td. the td i recently received. so, i just gave proof of the vaccine. ppd you have to do annually.

    Broward county new grads (just north of miami), start at about 22.50. However, there is not a nursing shortage in South Florida. It will be tough to find a job here.
