If you go to nys dept of ed website there is a list of approved programs. Last I checked the only online programs were Samford and Frontier. Stonybrook had an ANP I believe.

I had a 3.8 overall undergrad GPA and a 3.91 for my BSN program and I was waitlisted and later accepted but decided not to go there. Hth!

I was waitlisted, accepted and wound up turning it down as I already started another program. It was very difficult turning it down

I just saw on facebook that 2 people received their acceptance emails for class 112 cfnp about 30 mins ago. I still have not heard anything...

I think it is wrong for them to expect people to be able to arrange time off from work, travel plans etc in less than 6 weeks. Class 112 closed in September...we should have had answers by now!

I too started another program which is a brick n mortar program. I really wanted Frontier but the wait in my opinion is ridiculous. I am still on fence about the decision though lol!

Rush in Chicago has an approved program for online psych also.

Oh and U of Phoenix is not approved. Not for NP anyway

The list is not only Ny schools. There are a small handful of distance ed programs that are approved. If you chose a school that is not on the list of approved programs you will submit for licensure after program is complete an ny reviews the curri...

Yes it is. If you go to the Georgetown website of online nursing ptogram there is a link to what states they are approved in. Cali is listed.

I applied to 112 and I think the wait to find out might just kill me haha!

I applied for FNP class 112. It was the next available Fnp class. Give them a call and ask...nothing to lose!!

If you search keyword Frontier you will find a couple of posts about people being waitlisted. I don't have any first had experience as I just sent in my packet a few days ago. May I ask what your gpa and experience is?
