I think i need to start calling the recruiter and tell she gets my ball rolling!!! I am already in San Diego just want to take the trip to ODS and come back here LOL congrats!

me and my husband have received a total of 3 bonuses while active duty and the ones that got major tax taken out of them we always saw it back to us when we filed our income taxes! gotta love the bonuses getting taxed!

interesting, I already held a topsecret clearance from when I was ad, so i think i still have the copy of the paperwork so i wont have to dig up all that info AGAIN!!! I just wish they'd start my ball rolling!!!

I can't even get the recruiter to send me the package to start applying!!! I am a veteran with 10 yrs active duty and an honorable discharge!!! If i could even get to the application process right now I'd be happy!

Anyone starting this April? Have you received the orientation info yet?

I am in San Diego, CA but it shouldn't matter where I am located since it's the military. I don't think I really want to go in the Army anyhow since my husband is in the Navy and I don't want to deal with spouse colocation between two branches.

duh what was i thinking, for some reason I was thinking Oct 2010 was fy 2010....My recruiter said call back after I pass the nclex, which I took yesterday.....so once I get the results I will physically go in and see him, he didn't seem to interested...

I called the Army and I graduate May 2010 but it sounded like I wouldn't go in till 2011 or something....not sure Army is for me, really hoping to get back in the Navy

I took ALL the qbank and had a 58% overall and 66 on trainer 6 ad 58 on trainer 7, i took it today and got the pop up....

Just know that you will want your husband's support if you go in the military. Speaking from an 11 yr vet. You are going to have to rely on him more than you do as a civilian, especially once you start a family. The saying distance makes the heart...

Anyone going there? I got accepted to their BSN program to start in July 07 but have req to start in Oct instead. Pros cons with the school? Any advice for me? tia

yah I start on Monday too!!! I can't wait!!! I think the major issue is the lack of proper administrative staff. there is one girl for 1000 students i would think they could hire one more with the amt of tuition we pay!!!

oh and another I am a veteran but my husband stayed in so I found no reason to use the VA, so before I went on my internship I assumed I would be seeing ALOT of old patients but our clinic sees them from 17-108 I believe.

I am currently doing my internship for MA in the outpatient clinic at my local VA and I see both females and males. I am enjoying my experience.

So i have 11 months of GI Bill left and 22 months of school left. I was wondering if i was going to run into a catch 22 when I go back in as a Nurse and request the loan repayment? What are your thoughts?
