I am an RN, BSN, and a foreigner here in the USA my first assignment was a place where racial discrimination is still on the TOP issue. My Tech would asked me to clean my patient, and do things that tech supposed to do, because I am just new and learning culture I just do everything, doing my what you call professional job as a nurse and the job of a tech. BUTTTT, when I learned things, I face my manager and walked out of the hospital and I am happy where I am now. I can not bit them, I don't like to join them either. Thank God I am bless.

I believe when a person time to die he will die no matter what, I don't believe to life support thing, and to PAS, but I am for "painless death".

I asked a patient to brush his teeth. " ah, I can't stand up and walk, I'm paralysed", but all the things he needs are all in his bed side. I said "your hand will brush your teeth not your feet... then I leave him. When I come back he said, "I'm saving those whats in my teeth so my dentist has something to do". Grrrrrr!!!! annoying, its not funny, but he's 21 years old male, and gushhh his girlfriend visiting him,,,, I'm sure he did not lost his mind yet.

I don't drag them out of bed, I simply say "brush your teeth so you can taste your food better, and getting up of your bed is the best." I don't give extra strenght in doing so, if I broke my back no one can ever pay my pain.
