  11. Wow, you are brave! I'm even scared of a little overlapping. These classes require so much time, it's ridiculous! And don't even get me started on this week's paper. Yikes!
  12. MBrickle, I'm sorry you're having a tough time! Hopefully it was an error and you'll get your grade. Hang in there! Have any of you ladies registered for your next class? The schedule is not working out for me. I wanted to take one of my general cour...
  13. I got an 88 too. These classes are so time-consuming, it's no wonder they recommend taking them one at a time! They're so particular about every little thing, I'm almost scared of APA now lol. Just gotta take them one week at a time, I guess! Hope ev...
  14. I don't want a male nurse! - Caption Contest Winner

Requesting same-sex caretaker/doctor is not always as simple as personal preference. For a lot of people, it's cultural/religious. For those who said patients should be grateful for compassionate care, why should I have to choose between compassion a...
  15. I start 4/8/13 too, with Prof. Nursing A/B and Tech Writing. I have 3 pre-reqs to take (tech writing, Texas govt., and US History II I think). I'm kind of nervous about taking 2 classes right off the bat while working full-time and homeschooling! I w...

  17. Working/worked at Piedmont Atlanta?

Thanks, Kevin! I passed the test and had my interview. I was told I'd get a call back. I thought it went well, but we'll see. What floor do you work on and how do you like Piedmont?
  18. Interview for Piedmont (Atlanta GA) new grad program thurs

Hey, how was the medication/med-surg exam? I have an interview tomorrow, not for the new grad program though. Good luck, OP! BTW, I applied 2/1 and was called for interview 2/6.
  19. Working/worked at Piedmont Atlanta?

So I applied to Piedmont and I have an interview tomorrow. I'm very nervous about the test; apparently it's a med-surg and drug calc exam. Anyone take this exam? How many questions? What's it like? I wasn't able to study for it as I had to work 5 day...
  20. Working/worked at Piedmont Atlanta?

Not sure what happened to my previous comment, but thanks for sharing that. That says a lot, commuting is no joke and I can't imagine driving that long to work for that amount of time!
  21. Cardizem drip?

Check with your pharmacy; you might already have a protocol for this. If not, then call the MD.
  22. Long/modest scrub skirts?

Hi, I know it was a while ago you posted this, but I was wondering if you liked the quality of this company's skirts? I need long skirts and am thinking about ordering from them, so I was wondering about the quality of their clothes. Thanks
  23. I am DONE :)

Congratulations! I had my ATI exit exam this past Tuesday and my final exam this Tuesday. Pinning is on Thursday! Can't wait! We've made it!
  24. I felt the same way about Peds. Hated the class, except the congenital heart defects! I took it in the summer so it was rushed and horrible, but I love the heart defects. We had a peds cardiology come and give a lecture, and it was pretty cool!
  25. Taking NCLEX RN tomorrow!

Yay! CONGRATS!!!! Now go celebrate, and get some sleep! lol
