  1. I am a female nursing student but I dont understand why male nurses are looked down on. They are human beings too.
  2. You will do fine next time and pass...just have faith
  3. Congrats!!! I start nursing school in January so hopefully I can be like you and get a 4.0 through nursing school myself (doubt it will happen)
  4. Your tuition is costing you a lot of money but at my school for a 4 year degree it is costing me about $32,000 total. If nursing is what you really want to do though, I say go for it...you can do anything that you put your mind to.
  5. I got accepted into the program with exactly a 3.0 GPA so I'm sure you can find somewhere to get in. At my school the only thing you cant retake if you are a nursing majorer is a science more than once. Which I had to do myself and I still was able to get in.
  6. I start nursing school in January and I went to the doctor and found out that I didnt have any immunity to the chicken pox. Kinda weird I know but as a child I had never had chicken pox. Yeah i know you wonder how a kid never got chicken pox but luckily somehow i didnt. Anyways, I'm like you i had to get vaccinated for it myself. It's no biggie though
  7. Hey everyone. I finally made one of my dreams come true by getting accepted into the nursing program but I now have to make my other dream come true by actually finishing and getting my degree. I start January 16th and I'm so scared. I dont really know what to expect and what its going to be like. I cant help but think about it all the time and then I usually start worrying about it and wondering if I'm even made out for a nurse. It's very hard to not worry about it even with everyone telling me I will be fine. What do you think I should do? Any comments or ideas for a soon to be first year first semester nursing student?
