Hmmm, made me think of a couple of procedures from the "dark ages" that are still in use: 1. Trepanation: I think all neurosurgeons would readily agree that a hole is the starting point for all neurosurgical procedures. 2. Bloodletting: Think about it: used for hemochromatosis. Uh, also could we possibly throw in leech therapy for wound healing? Hey, if these things were good enough for Hippocrates...just saying. Just messing with ya Chiandre!!

Prisoners, oh my gosh, some of the things they do to get a "vacay" is unreal, and they would even admit to it. When I worked in ER yrs. ago, most Dr.'s & surgeons would be so mad to even have to deal with them!
