Does anyone know anything about this institution? I am considering applying and I just want some kind of info. Thanx:confused:

has anyone already gone though an interview session with ODU for the 09 school year? What was it like, what did they ask, were they personality or clinical questions? Do they let you know if you are accepted right there?

Does anyone know how many people are being interviewd for the 25 seats?

Yes, they sent out interview letters early last week or maybe the week before.

Still waiting....did anyone get a letter yet? This is killing me!!!

If you don't mind moving check out VCU...your gpa and ICU experience is well within the requirements and they accept gre scores >800 I believe. Hope this helps.

So what did you look for in prospective students during interviews?

i do not think that bridge was asking if you could overstudy in this program, i believe this person just wants an idea of what current srna's study habits are like, and if it will be intense throughout the whole program (which i am sure it will be!)

and as far as i heard crna schools love the cvicu, but that does not mean it is a sure thing.

well, ccu usually stands for critical care unit (i believe) cvicu- cardiovascular instensive care unit and micu-med-surg icu ...hope this helps:up:

There is a good chance that you will not be able to find a Chem class online..not sure why..Have you asked the school of your choice if there is a time line on your chemistry class that you have previously taken. if not ask...you may be surprised at ...

the range of CRNA students across the board run between 25 to 45 so you are not too old. get your degree, get your experience and get yourdegree again. youu are never too old. HTH

There was a thread created a few months ago and no reply..I am looking into Mercer myself was hoping for some info. Hope someone could put us out of our misery. :monkeydance:
