  13. Took the PAX-RN test Saturday

Don't stress about the test too much. A grade of 100 is required and that is a comparably low grade, approximately 50% of the total. For Charity School of Nursing a 130+ recieves the highest score in calculating points for acceptance in the program....
  14. LSU's accelerated program?

Sunshine0425 I would love to know more about the Loyola program. I know that Nicholls is starting an ASN to BSN program in the Fall, but had not heard about the Loyola program. Will they accept an ASN to a MSN program?
  15. LSU's accelerated program?

Sunshine0425, I really want to know more about the Loyola program! I am an older student and will need to become a supervisor rather than floor nurse within a few short years. Nicholls is starting an ASN to BSN program this fall, but I had not hea...
  16. Charity School of Nursing

I see what you mean by being denied access, I could not get on either, strange. Ok, lets see: Math 118 is college algrebra - not lineal equations although they will take the lineal equation course which, in every university, is the first math. you w...
  17. Charity School of Nursing

Welcome home, the site for Delgado is dcc.edu where you will find links to Charity's ASN program. While you can apply to Charity from any school, Delgado has all of the pre-requisite classes that are required. I took the pre-requisite of Anatomy le...
  18. Relocating to NOLA, advice please?

Kiya, Like the rest of the country I do not think that you quite understand what New Orleans is like right now. While the French Quarter and a few neighborhoods missed the flooding, most of the neighborhoods in New Orleans are basically deserted. ...
  19. LSU's accelerated program?

Sunshine - thank you for the information on OLOLC. I have a question. Do you know what the qualifications are to be chosen for the program? I was accepted to Charity for this spring, but turned it down to finish my 4 year. Do you know what the cu...
  20. LSU's accelerated program?

Jemommy, I was wondering why you did not look at the OLOLC/Tulane program? I have narrowed down my choice to that RN program, is there a reason anyone knows of that would make this program less of a choice than others in the area? Also how long is...
  21. new Tulane/OLOL accelerated students

I turned down a spot in Charity for 07 and will finish my 4 yr. degree in May. I wrote to OLOLC about their program and received the info. I wrote an email to an advisor there and was told that most students get financial aid from WIA (?) can someo...
  22. OLOLC/Tulane- need advice

I was accepted to Charity School of Nursing but would like to attend OLOLC's program instead. Any advice? If I am good enough to be accepted to Charity could I presume that I would have a better than average chance at OLOLC? Thanks
