  1. If anyones getting the time ticket not assigned error you have to reapply to GWC because you are unenrolled from the college after not attending GWC for 2+ semesters. It won't affect your nursing status though, but reapply so you can register the classes!
  2. They just said they made it less stressful by organizing it better. the changes should be good for us according to them
  3. If youre in a pinch you can get a same day appointment for the covid booster at walgreens for free. Titers are expensive, id try to go through your insurance/mediCAL for that though. The big PIA is the TB test since you have to go 4 times within a timeframe and you cant get the covid booster before it because it messes with the results.
  4. They briefly explained it. They lowered the price, got rid of access codes, reduced the required reading material to only whats essential and what we will actually be using, restructured it to prepare us for the nextgenNCLEX, mixed online and inperson, changed the clinicals structure; where going to be in smaller groups so they can focus on us more I think, and some semesters are going to be less credits which will affect financial aid award. They said that the class schedule and class structure will be emailed to us in early January.
  5. yea, if you got BOG awarded or challenged you should be chilllin though. They will drop you if you don't pay after a few days, but im pretty sure youll be able to reregister since only the people accepted can register.
  6. I would message admissions though just to be safe. My registration appointment was October 13 and I still cant register LOL.
  7. 1st application Science GPA 4.0 Phlebotomy cert no community hour/work experience 4.0 GPA on extra classes (pharma, stats, dev. psych., etc.) total points: 84 It was cool, everyone was really nice. Instructors seem nice and passionate. Im not a morning person so I was trying really hard to not fall asleep. The classrooms are pretty cool too.
  8. I think its crazy that nurses cant drink or smoke weed off the clock. CA is pushing to prevent employers from discriminating against workers who smoke off the clock and away from work. Weed has been amazing for my insomnia and has helped me get the best sleep I've ever had. I've tried OTC sleep meds, and none of them work consistently.
  9. Hey Kenji, do you have anywhere we can ask you questions? I cant send messages on here because I don't have platinum and I know the UI for allnurses is kind of annoying.
  10. Yea thats more than enough time. If you have a prescription for anything being tested I would fax the medical officer your prescription documents, her fax is in the email attachment, just to speed up the process. Pass/no pass is fine but it will be equivalent to a C. It may affect your transfer eligibility or competitiveness.
  11. Hey Tracy, I cant PM on allnurses because I don't have platinum. My background report and drug test have just been approved. The background check took a few weeks and the drug test took a few days because I needed prescription clearance. If you have any more questions don't be scared to DM me on insta @allanfromstaples ?
  12. NCLEX is also changing to Next Gen NCLEX, I heard that the questions are structured better though.
  13. I have no idea. The email they sent was vague af, and the website doesnt give that much useful info /: but im assuming they HAVE to give us at minimum 5 weeks after the deadline to accept because the titer test can take up to 4 weeks
