I'm not a nurse but have been following the discourse on vaccination trying to understand what's going on. Recently there have been a lot of articles saying that the unvaccinated account for 99% of covid deaths. I noticed the UK is reporting a different statistic, with 60% of deaths being at least partially vaccinated.
Not being a nurse, I was wondering if anyone can explain the difference between the two countries. From what I understand AstraZeneca is most used in UK, but Pfizer and others are used as well.
Are these statistics in the US true? Can anyone point me to more info on this besides journalistic articles,. I'm looking for the reports or statistics. Is the 99% consistent with what you guys are seeing?
Thank you for any help.
