If you don't mind, I have a couple of questions about Sierra's program. I was on the waitlist this past round, didn't start and now I'm guaranteed a spot for Fall 2022. Needless to say, I'm anxious to start and I hear it's very intense so I want to start off on the right foot. Since you started the program, can you recommend a general review manual or anything you wish you would've done before starting the program such as reviewing dosage calculations, pharmacology?
They have a uniform that you have to purchase from them. Expect to pay about $1200-$1400 on orientation for your uniform and books. You will need a stethoscope, medical scissors, pen light, shoes (all leather or synthetic material - no laces). You can buy a blood pressure cuff to practice taking a manual blood pressure now and outside of class, but you do not have to.
