Hey guys!
I was just wondering how OSAP works (especially for Toronto since rent is absurd). Does OSAP cover tuition for the 2 years? Does it also cover rent and groceries etc? Would I have to take a personal bank loan?

I’ll most likely be declining UofT (if I get in) since uAlberta is my top choice.
U of A is #2 in Canada (right below Toronto) but it’s MUCH cheaper for me since I live in Edmonton. Toronto rent is crazy.

btw acceptances are first offered to those who have already completed the prereqs and/or completed a degree!
Majority of those who are still in school or finishing pre-reqs, will have to wait for a decision AFTER their final marks are available ...

I heard hospitals like Toronto General and Mt Sinai give preference to UofT students

No you’re right! I was using the registration numbers. Hmm that is pretty high honestly. I’m not too sure why 70 or so offers get turned down. Maybe they wanted to go to other schools?

No that’s too high, it’s usually 25% acceptance rate across multiple programs (generally speaking). UofT is more like 15% just due to it being so competitive:/
