  1. thank you so much, good luck with everything you do. You seem like a great person and I wish you the very best!
  2. Hey guys! I was one of the ones who did not get into EFSCs Fall 2020 ADN program but I was a blessing in disguise bC I got into Advent healths BSN program!
  3. WOW! I wonder how many people they took in then?.. also, I want to re take my TEAS test, but the next deadline is in July. Does any one know if they’re allowing TEAS testing?
  4. No, not even a waitlist spot
  5. Mine was a denial letter. Kind of annoyed bc in the selection criteria is says you get “special consideration” for 6 options and I had 3 of the 6 options listed. Oh well I guess.
  6. I live in port St. John. The picture shows a letter from EFSC. And I will let you guys know
  7. I have informed delivery. My mail comes around 11, I haven’t opened it yet
  8. Small letter is usually a denial. I got a small letter too. ?
  9. Hopefully we get them tomorrow. My birthday is next week so I’m hoping I don’t get a rejection letter on my birthday LOL
  10. Still no letter today!! ?
  11. @oceanicdreamer if you don’t mind me asking, what were your stats when you applied? I know things technically were different, considering you guys had a point system. Did you have a high GPA? How was your TEAS? And did you have healthcare experience?
  12. So now it’s the end of June? Everyone is getting a different response. When I called, the told me that the letters will be sent out to USPS at the end of may and we should have them by the first week of June.. And oh my, there is so many views on this thread.. it makes me wonder if that’s how many people have applied ?
  13. I would seriously be shocked if you didn’t get in.
  14. You really have nothing to worry about.. you prob have the best chance here honestly LOL. I have experience and all that other stuff but my TEAS score was super low..
  15. I thought so, but you’re basically guaranteed entrance considering your transitioning!
  16. If they have different deadlines they could possibly be a different selection criteria then? It would make sense but I’m not sure. LOL I would atleast hope it’s a separate one!
  17. I applied to the traditional but I believe it’s all the same thing, right?
  18. I’m not sure, I hope so! But same for you!! I’m really positive about you getting accepted! Good luck to you!!
  19. They’re not looking at the over all score, just the reading portion, so you’re fine on that! I currently go to EFSC and graduated there with my A.A. and graduated there from a health care program. I work at health first currently as a CNA, I have my bls & CPR cert. along with a few other certifications in health care that I submitted. I did 4 letters of recommendation, so I’m hoping all of that will outweigh my TEAS score. I personally think from what you’ve told me, you have a really great chance on getting accepted
  20. You did AMAZING on the TEAS test!! I got a 75 in the reading.. so I do not feel too great on getting accepted after seeing everyone’s score. If they’re accepting people based on the scores, I don’t stand a chance. If you don’t mind me asking, did you submit anything for the work life/experience/credentials portion of the application? And we should honestly start a group or something! I think it would be good to cheer each other on honestly
  21. Hi!! I applied too, I posted on the other threat but thought I should respond to this one too LOL. But how do you feel of your chances are on getting in? I’m praying we all get in, I just heard that a lot of people usually apply and they only accept around 60 people. IDK if that’s true or not. Thread*
  22. yes, they only count the reading section of the TEAS test, that was one of the new things when they changed the selection criteria. I think they changed it to where they look at the whole aspect of your application instead of focusing on the TEAS like previous years. I got a 75 on the reading section
  23. I don’t think that would be a problem then. I believe they would count the A grades that you got. Did you submit all transcripts from all the colleges you’ve attended? & I am so anxious as well. I did pretty bad on my TEAS test, I’m just hoping they don’t go solely off the test. Also, regarding clinical; my friends who are in the program now, their clinical are currently cancelled but are assumed to re start in August if covid continues to slow down.
  24. I’m not too sure how they calculate in the pre req GPA. Where did you take your pre-reqs at, and if you don’t mind me asking, what was your first grades on them? I believe that if you “failed” the classes and then re took them, they would count the grade in which you didn’t fail, but I’m not exactly too sure. (If that makes sense). The fact that you have a BA is also another big factor that can help you & your TEAS score is good. This is also the only school I applied to also. I’ve really wanted to go to EFSC nursing school Bc I have many friends in it already.
  25. Your TEAS score is really great & so is your GPA. You having your bachelors is another plus for you.. did you complete a different class in place for intro to health care, or you just haven’t completed it yet?
