  1. Any tips for the PAC test that helped you gain entrance?
  2. Anyone here bridge LVN to BSN or is it only LVN to RN available?
  3. Hi, I'm hoping to sign up to start September 2023 with Nightingale. I wanted to know how many semesters you did your program in? Thank you so much! Your posts have been helpful. I'm also a California applicant.
  4. TylenolPlease, Thanks for info! In how months will you have completed the program? I need to retake sciences and maybe math so I'm trying to figure out if this will work for me to take sciences at CC or with Nightingale. Waiting for my license ( Ca LVN) but I want to work FT and do school as long as I can. If I only work FT 6 months then do registry to work around SoFE travel I'm okay as long as I'm progressing forward with my degree. Thanks in advance! I'd expect my start date to be September 2023 or January 2024.
  5. Not sure why score for you are like that. Our scoring system was as follows: Dear students, Here is the percentage conversion for your HESI proctored exam, please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns. § More than 1100 – 100% § 1001-1099 – 95% § 901-1000 – 90% § 851-900 – 80% § 850 – 75% § 751-849 – 70% § Less than 750- 60% I'm in an LPN program and this was given to us first semester.
  6. I am currently a LVN student in CA, will finish early Spring 2023. I have prerequisites done but for CC out here and most programs will expire next year. I don’t want to retake if possible before applying to a LVN to BSN program. I am considering U of Arkansas (Texas would be nice). For those who are started in the DFW area how have clinicals been and what is your school schedule like? Where you able to transfer any or all of your community college course work? Thanks In advance!! Also what are job opportunities like for LPN in DFW area, average rate of pay and nurse to patient ratio if you work in acute care?
  7. Hello, I was wondering if anyone if any one on this thread still works at Good Samaritan? I’m in LVn school and see that Good Sam has a new grad LVN program? I know scope of practice will be different but any input from current nurses there that have seen any LVNs go through this program or can tell me if the LVN works the floor would be great. I don’t graduate until Spring 2023. Looking forward to the comments!
  8. If you have CNA license you can work registry and make good money. I worked 1 year (10 months Acute care and 2 months LTC) and got in with a great registry/travel agency. I live in So Cal, currently making 30+ an hour as a CNA, working 36+hrs/week as per Diem until I start LVN school. I’ll work 2 days or deliver with Uber eats Or work one day LTC or suck it up an pull an overnight 12 during the week. You can survive. Work smart ?
  9. Anyone take entrance exam for UAV in Lancaster California for this coming 12/06/21 start date? I took the test 11/16/21. I thought it was pretty easy, but I’ve taken RN program prerequisites (almost all expired!). if anyone is interested in starting a facebook group let me know. Also did anyone else notice hours changed from original information of M-F 9am-3pm to 8am-5pm M-F. I didn’t notice until I got home after testing and speaking with the counselor and financial aid. anyone commuting from SF valley or Santa Clarita area?
  10. Wondering how the lvn to BSN is going for those that started last year? Anyone have a AA or AS along with LVN a and prerequisites done? I’m aiming to get into LVN program at an adult school, then would like to bridge LVN to BSN at unitek. Wondering the cost if you already have GE done?
