Someone else said almost the same thing to me yesterday. I have emailed the HR dept and the hiring manager and it's been almost 10 days. No response. At this point I have decided to just move on.

Apply for every mother/baby position in your area (at the hospital you are at now and those in the surrounding areas) even if it may not be the shift you want (I.e. apply for day and night shift positions, etc). Keep checking all the job listing...

Have you actually applied for a job? I am assuming you have since you said you shadowed. If you have applied for a job then reaching out to HR for an application status at this point would make sense. I'm not sure on what "endorsing" you to HR means ...

If the job is effecting you like this chronically (meaning it's more than just a couple of tough days), go because sticking it out will only drive you further down emotionally and physically and no job is worth your health.

As others have posted, that is a heavy load and there is no way, especially if you are new to HH you will finish everything in 8 hrs.

HH is Georgia pay mileage though most deduct the first 15 miles and the last or similar. No way I would drive the amount you are without being compensated in some form.
