  1. CSULB FALL 2020

If you look at CSULB's schedule of classes and scroll to the very right, you can see which hospitals the classes are held. It looks like aside from VA Long Beach and LB Memorial, most of the hospitals are in Orange County, unfortunately. That would b...
  2. CSULB FALL 2020

I'd also prefer to do semester bc I want my summer breaks, but trimester would probably be a better idea since I don't have reliable transportation (if I do get to choose). Based on info from previous threads, it sounds like students in the semester ...
  3. CSULB FALL 2020

Are you guys leaning towards the semester or trimester program? I'd be happy to be in either but I'm torn! I think trimester would be a better option for me because I don't have a car, so it'd be much easier for me to travel to just LB Memorial than ...
  4. CSULB FALL 2020

Nice! Never heard of Carl but he's the man
  5. CSULB FALL 2020

Oh, awesome! I really hope they send it early, we don't need this kind of stress haha. Also, you'll probably be fine with putting 4 units instead of 5. Mistakes happen
  6. CSULB FALL 2020

Nice! You probably have a pretty good chance of getting into CSULA as well then! I can't believe the csulb app is still open; I don't want to wait another month for communication exercise emails ?
  7. CSULB FALL 2020

Wow, you're a massage therapist? That's awesome! Does that get you extra points on the CSULA app?
  8. CSULB FALL 2020

Yeah, CSULA is my 2nd choice. Most of the other CSUs I applied to are in NorCal and I don't really wanna go all the way over there LOL. Oh yeah, the traffic and parking for commuters here is absolutely awful! That's LA for you, I guess haha
  9. CSULB FALL 2020

I did! I applied to several other CSUs, although csulb is my first choice. I can't really see myself anywhere else as of now, because I really like it here. What about you, where else did you apply to?
  10. CSULB FALL 2020

I don't think they will; they haven't in the past. I've heard that most of the time, of all of the students that get in, only a few of did their prereqs at csulb. Most of the students that are admitted are transfers from community colleges
  11. CSULB FALL 2020

Yeah, there are much fewer applicants in Spring, but I figured I finished my prereqs last semester, so why not? We have a 2nd chance anyways. Are you a current csulb student btw? I'm guessing from the fact your chem was 5 units and the other science...
  12. CSULB FALL 2020

I'm sorry you had to take two chem classes(unless you like chem)! I don't think your GPA is necessarily 3.8, since your classes have different weight in your GPA depending on how many units they are, if that makes any sense. I'm not sure how they'll...

https://www.csulb.edu/college-of-health-human-services/school-of-nursing/undergraduate-bsn-faq-and-application It's the last question under "Application FAQs"
  14. CSULB FALL 2020

Did you apply to other CSUs? Most of the other CSUs I applied to give extra points for volunteering and clinical experience. I think I have a much lower chance of getting into those bc I have no experience yet, but you probably have a really high cha...
  15. CSULB FALL 2020

I think you have a pretty decent chance based on previous threads and the pool stats on the website! It's pretty crazy that there were 800+ applicants for Fall 2019 compared to 500+ in previous Fall semesters, though. I really hope there aren't that...
  16. CSULB FALL 2020

You have a very good chance as well! I'm pretty concerned about the communication exercise though, I've heard it's easy and fun but I get nervous easily haha
  17. CSULB FALL 2020

Thanks for starting the thread! My stats are: TEAS reading: 93.6% TEAS overall: 96.7% GE GPA: 4.0 Science GPA: 4.0 I'm not sure if I calculated my total points correctly, but I think it's 9.806. Is (TEAS reading x 0.02) + (TEAS overall x 0.02) + ...
