I also didn't list my top three specialties in my cover letter. I'm assuming if we didn't get an email at this point, then it's likely that's what disqualified us.

Received an email with the subject line "An Important Update from NYU is Ready to View." I entered their portal and was happy to see an acceptance letter.

Speaking only from a financial perspective and I'd have to do the math to say with certainty - Columbia's program is 85k, but at the end of the day, what leaves your pocket by attending Columbia vs. JHU is nominal with the high cost of living in NY.
