South Dakota State - College of Nursing

South Dakota State University is the state’s largest comprehensive research university. The 1881 land-grant institution, located in Brookings, SD, enrolls over 12,000 students annually. The College of Nursing is one of six academic colleges with four nursing education program sites in the state: Rapid City, Aberdeen, Sioux Falls and Brookings. Programs include:

Faculty research focuses on health promotion for rural and underserved populations, health outcomes and nursing and interprofessional education. For more than 80 years, the College of Nursing has provided affordable, accessible nursing education.
