Hey guys, I was trying to figure out reading break for us! (I know very far haha) Does anyone know if we would get family day off (feb 17 2020)? and the weekend after reading break starts (Feb 22 &23 2020)? I feel like the weekend before the 17th we could possibly get scheduled for clinical but I'm wondering what the general thing is for after?

Oh my, that is such a long commute! I'm from out of town but I got a place in Richmond so it won't be as bad as 2 hours but I'm guessing it will be awful with rush hour. Since I'm not from Vancouver I have no clue what it's like! On the UBC parking website I looked up the parking rates for different places and I saw that Thunderbird was 10$ a day but then I wonder how bad parking is there? Like is it completely packed all the time and very hard to get a spot since it seems to be the cheapest option?

Hey guys! Does anyone plan on driving to UBC? If so do you guys know what you're doing for parking? like are you guys planning on getting a permit or is there a spot that there's usually free or cheaper parking?

Is anyone here possibly driving to school? I got a place in Richmond and it would take forever to get there by bus. If you guys are driving or know anything about parking please let me know! I tried to look up parking areas and apparently, students aren't allowed to get a permit to park in the health sciences parking which is right by our classes. does anyone know where we can get a permit and park? maybe the hospital since we are nursing students?

Hey guys! This is my first time discovering this link. I know I'm a bit late to the game. I got accepted for UBC for September 2019 and since I'm not from Vancouver I am freaking out a bit! I was trying to look up professors on rate my prof and get a feeling for their teaching style but got no answers. Does anyone have any suggestions for certain profs on their teaching and marking style? any tips? or possibly know where to look? Also, I tried to figure out how to use the UBC bookstore and I wasn't able to select the upcoming September semester. Am I the only one experiencing this? Looking forward to meeting you guys!
