Frontier Nursing University specializes in Advanced Nursing and Midwifery Education.
FNU was founded in 1939 by Mary Breckinridge and was originally established as the Frontier Graduate School of Midwifery. She had a vision of educating nurse-midwives to improve the healthcare of women and families in rural America.
