  1. Hi Julie123, I'm sorry to hear that your school won't complete the paperwork. I'm not sure if there is other ways to be able to challenge it, as the paperwork is priority to allow you to take the exam. Try to have your school send the Florida boards just your school transcript. I can't think of any other way to do this. ?
  2. Hello there @splewis, Unfortunately, I was not able to able to endorse my license in NY. I am currently attending an LPN program since moving to Florida or other state was not an option. How was your process? Were you able to endorse your license? if so, where are you located.
  3. Hi there, As long as you have completed med surge 1, fundamentals, pharm, and mental health, and you have passed with at least a C+, you are qualified to apply for the PNEQ. I was in a RN program though, but I think that as long as you have a certain number of credits and have completed those classes, you're good to go. Also, once you obtain your LPN license, it will only be to work in Florida - single- state license. You may apply for a compact license; however, you must reside in the state of Florida to be eligible. I wish you good luck and please research your home state educational laws, because some states like NY won't allow endorsement.

Hi to ladies! I am sure that by now, you're all nurses. I just wanted to ask ya'll how was the program and which semester is the hardest? Thanks :))
  5. Hi everyone!! Congrats to all who got accepted. I am taking the test next week, I hope to pass so I can join yall. ?
  6. I was not able to transfer license to NY being that the education laws are completely different.
  7. the orange cover, sorry I gave it away not sure of version.
  8. I have been studying the Saunders book. It is definitely worth the buy. I have also been using the plan of study for the NCLEX which is found in the website like one of the users said. I have started studying literally two days ago but using those two things has def made a difference. Also, try to review two systems a week and so on since there is a lot of material to learn. Manage well your study time without any distractions if you can and you will be golden! Best of luck!
  9. I also failed nursing during my last semester which has been devastating. Nevertheless, I was lucky to find and successfully challenged the LPN exam through the Florida Board of Nursing. It was actually fast. I sent the application less than a month or so and have already been approved to sit for the NCLEX PN. I think it was approved fast mainly because I was not eligible to apply for a compact license. However, it is possible to apply for endorsement at your current state after obtaining it, which is what I will do in order to practice in my state. I have already scheduled the exam and just started studying for it. I definitely recommend going with Florida. Don't hesitate to message me or anybody that needs extra guidance. Good luck!! :))
  10. What an encouraging story you shared. I am currently going through the same issue, however, after reading your post, I cannot agree more with one of my now, favorite quotes, "Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor." - Truman Capote. Reading your post has given me more hope and motivation to pursue nursing and hopefully like you soon I will share next to my name those beautiful credentials.
