  1. Hello Fatima,

I want to apply for the Mount Sinai ABSN program. I saw from the website, I need to submit two recommendation letters. One should come from academic sources and the other should come from a professional source. Would you mind to tell me what is mean by a professional source? If I submit the recommendation letter from my advisor, whether it can be counted as a professional source?

      Hey Jenny,

Professional letter just means from a previous job employer if you have worked before. I would suggest you get a hold of Ms.Gallo. She explains it well. Your advisor is more of an academic source unless your advisor and you have worked before together in a professional capacity.
