Dismissed From Nursing School, Not Sure What To Do Now

Unless a student/alum from one of those schools sees this, we probably can't answer your specific questions here. I think it's wise that you are attempting to evaluate your performance objectively. Sometimes that is difficult to do, but it is a must if you want to improve. Keep at it! No two programs are the same, and it is essential that you find the one that works for YOU! Make a list of *accredited* schools in your area. Don't overlook community colleges--some of them have excellent ADN/ASN programs! Keep track of pros/cons for each. There's a lot to consider, and you'll find many posts here about choosing a school. Next, look at the application requirements for each program (should be available on their website), and decide if these might be attainable for you. Be realistic, and don't get discouraged. If you have questions about admissions criteria, reach out to the nursing department directly. Most programs have someone who handles admissions counseling. (Just a note: many university offices have limited hours during winter break, and a lot of staff is out on vacation right now.) I hope this helps!

My coworkers dont like me because I bragged

I may have missed something here, but... Which coworkers are annoyed with you--the ones also working days? Or those you worked alongside on nights?

    Remember pagers?

I remember pagers for a different reason! My mom got one in the late 80's so she wasn't tethered to our landline while she was on call. I will never forget: we had to walk out of Indiana Jones, because of that devil box! But we knew the risk.

First over night shift, 2 jobs, in college

I'm going to be real with you: if your program is anything like mine was, you cannot continue to work that schedule through nursing school. (Just want to get that out of the way. I don't know your financial situation, but you have to do whatever works for you and still take care of your physical/mental well-being!) Personally, I can't flip between nights/days, but I know plenty of unicorns that can. For night shifts: hydrate, pack a healthy lunch, and don't eat whatever tempting goodies pop up in the breakroom. Coffee helps, but it can also disturb your sleep. Squeeze in some cardio when you can. I can't sleep during the day without my sleep mask, blackout shades, and box fan. I hope this works out for you, but please listen to your body. Nursing school is a whole other beast!

    Graduation Hold

Could you transfer the balance to a credit card, and then pay that off in January? Could you get a short-term loan from your bank? I would only do this if you are 100% certain you will have the money in January.
