  1. Hi @genesiee! did you end up staying at highland? How do you like it? how was the interview process, and what is the pre-interview test like? I have an interview there for the Spring 24 cohort and am hoping to find out a little more about the culture and how things work there! thanks so much!
  2. My app status was updated to "future potential" and I haven't gotten an email yet ? Super bummed. I did get a job offer for NICU at UCSD but of course was hoping for LPCH!
  3. My app still says "review in process" - patiently waiting...sort of! LOL!
  4. Someone in my class was just notified that they're starting in just a couple of weeks!
  5. LOL! True! I hope we just have to wait a while longer. I was really hoping to get this position! I hear such great things about the VA.
  6. OMG congrats! Is this for the student nurse job? I applied too. I thought I was moving forward, but haven't heard back after they asked for supplemental info.
  7. I agree! Honesty is the best policy! I got the interview invite via email! There was a link to choose the interview time, and some info on how the interview will go.
  8. Also would love to hear from those who interviewed, those were were accepted and rejected! Needing some advice: I didn't think I would be considered to even interview, and I accepted a job and have started working (literally just last week). I know that this program says NO PAID RN WORK. Did anyone have this problem? Any suggestions? Are they forgiving, or do they really stick to the requirements? I really just couldn't afford to wait anymore, sadly. I appreciate anyone's experiences! Would also love to hear how some of you are enjoying the OB program specifically (where I got an interview!). Thank you all!
  9. I think one of them was: Tell me about a time when you were on a team, what the goal of the team was, what your role was on the team, and tell us about a difficult team member on this team. Obviously, my wording is probably way off. Basically two questions in one. I definitely had a story for myself working on a team, and how teamwork was used to reach a goal. Then I had another story about working with a difficult team member. There were about four questions, over zoom, with one other candidate. There were several nurse managers on as well. Very friendly and encouraging.
  10. I got an interview for OB (Maternity/L&D)! Honestly can NOT believe this! Very excited. I don't even remember when I applied honestly! It's been quite the journey! What is everyone doing to prep? Does anyone have example questions from past cohorts? Also - I didn't think I would be hearing back, and accepted a job, and have worked. I know that this program requires NO paid experience by the program start. What do I do? Is anyone else in this predicament? Best of luck to ALL OF US! ❤️
  11. Any more movement on the waitlist? I think the first round of admitted students had to make a decision in the last day or so!
  12. Big congrats to you! Did they call you to tell you you were admitted? Did you get an email? Seriously, super excited for you! Also, is there anyone else who did receive an acceptance email, but will be declining?
  13. Anyone else from the waitlist hear anything?
