    I agree the older lifers are calmer and just do their program. The 20 year olds with life sentences I use to work around were hell on wheels. Stabbing each other, killing others. Attacking staff etc....

    With those shift hours it will work. In the 3 prisons I have worked at, the TTA was always 6-2, 2-10, and 10-6 while clinics had hours such as 7:30-3:30pm so they can't swap with TTA

    The reason you can't swap in the yard clinics is because everyone works Monday through Friday 0730 - 3:30pm with weekends and holidays off. The ER or TTA and the crisis bed unit work the 6-2,....

    I use to work 16 , 8 , 16 hours then off for 4 days. It was nice and I did this for 7 years. Yes you can do 1 swap a week and get 3 days off if you work the 6 - 2pm , 2 - 10pm or 10pm - 6am shifts....
