   Although, this year the ABSN application included two essay prompts very similar to the proctored essay prompts last year, and last year there were no application essays at all until the interview day.

   I know last year the ABSN interviews included a one hour proctored essay session (2x 500 word essays) but the PNP interview had nothing about an essay at all.

   I applied to the MSN track, but in the interview they said that everyone who starts the program this year will end up being required to complete the DNP due to changing national standards for nurse practitioners, as far as I understood.
