Miami Regional College Direct MSN
I actually never applied because I did Some more research. Apparently the previous school(Before it was bought out and called Miami Regional) was terrible and had issues with failing students out unfairly and it was for profit. I couldn’t find many honest reviews on the current situation. I also saw that a lot of the people that were going there were previous MDs in other countries(Cuba, the Dr, etc) so I wasn’t sure if I would be able to keep up with that.

Tcat Nashville
I’m looking at applying to the TCAT in Nashville for their hybrid or regular LPN. I know that they require the 2 pre reqs. What time have they been help in the past? I see that they’ve been held as early as 3:30 and that won’t work for me with my work schedule. Also, does anyone want to share their stats on getting in for a previous cycle?

Miami Regional College Direct MSN
Does anyone have experience with this program? It's a direct entry MSN with FT and PT options in Miami.

TCAT McMinnville Hybrid LPN Program
Omg. That scares me. Yikes. I see why you said you had to study 6 hours a day. Did you work a full time 40 hours a week if you don't mind me asking? I was thinking of working weekends and Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

TCAT McMinnville Hybrid LPN Program
Spoke to Ms. Trudy a bit today. I'm so nervous about the program lol. Did they provide you guys with the additional resources to use since you were just given powerpoints or was it a lot of googling and finding your own resources? Also, did you get study guides or anything for the tests?

Were you given the option to sit for the CNA exam after your first trimester?

TCAT McMinnville Hybrid LPN Program
Was there a specific time that the tests had to be taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays? Or was it just "by the end of the day"? I've done online learning before with my previous schooling an in-state university and an online university, so it doesn't really bother me, I just want to make sure I have all of the tools needed to succeed. I would hate to start and then have to withdraw. How many hours were you able to work? Do you think 3 12 hour shifts on the weekends is feasible? Thank you for all of your help in answering questions.

TCAT McMinnville Hybrid LPN Program
I'm kind of scared now lol. So the the 2nd trimester, clinicals basically took place of Monday/Wednesday tests? Just trying to make sure I understand. And if you could do it again, would you have chosen to do the hybrid program still?

TCAT McMinnville Hybrid LPN Program
Ok good. I was confused when you said I & II. Yikes. How do the tests work? Do you take them when you go in on Monday and Wednesdays? Do you feel like the professors were helpful in a sense that it is "self taught" but did they answer your questions? Also, how many people stayed until the end?

TCAT McMinnville Hybrid LPN Program
I'm gonna take my pre-reqs online(I live in Murfreesboro). So you took both A&P I and II instead of just the Anatomy and Physiology for Allied Health? Thats the course I saw listed on there. What format are the actual nursing courses in? Is it on D2L or Ecampus as well? I see it's a lot of "self taught" from what I've researched, but what resources were you given?

TCAT Murfreesboro Fall 2018
From what I've gathered from research and members on this board-The Hybrid is 49% online and 51% on ground. You have to take A&P and Dosage Calculations before you apply. Classes are two days a week, Mondays and Wednesdays. Clinicals start in the 1st Trimester after you finish the Fundamentals of Nursing course. The times for clinicals vary with the location. Hospitals was from 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM and 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Psych 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, LTC 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. That would work better for me based on having to work and I'm a pretty big fan of online learning. The post below this one in the thread is one I posted about the TCAT McMinnville.

Also, did you do the formal application first(the one on the website) or did you have to take the classes first, then fill the application out?
