   I got my letter today! It says that the fall and winter starts are randomly selected so it sounds like a ‘take what you get' situation. There is the option to take NUR 1290 before or during the first actual semester of the program though.

    That's what it sounded like, but I was creeping on the thread of applicants from 2016 when they were waiting for their letters and it said that there were something like 240 applicants and 215 seats. So really either way good chances!
