Since LPN are nurses as well, if you do become one you will be in charge of the CNAs that work in your facility. You really need to take some time to think about this.

Well, you are in the beginning state so it's normal to be nervous and worried .

I do know that the local hospitals will let nursing students work as PCTs /CNA . You should check the hospitals in your town ,and if your lucky they might hire you to work for them as a nurse when you are finished with nursing school .

If I were you I would just take English 101, than both you will have a lot of books to read, and a lot of papers to write. I myself am taking English 101 this fall. Good luck to you in what you decide .
