  1. zbarrie I'm a PGCC transfer student.
  2. Good News Guys, I just received the Conway Scholarship. SUPER STOKED!!!
  3. Anyone mind sharing the lab groups you chose?
  4. How did you guys like SIPPS at Baltimore?
  5. Anyone receive their Financial Aid Package yet?
  6. I don't want to say that it's correct, but I called them a while back and they said that in August, before semester starts. I got the Merit Scholarship but that doesn't cover everything. :/
  7. Did you receive the Merit Scholarship? I wonder if that plays a role in the Conway Scholarship.
  8. YEAH, I applied before the February Deadline. I want to know more info about past winners and how many recipients are selected.
  9. I know it's tough waiting, but that's just how UMSON operates. All I can tell you is don't lose hope, they over-admit students to compensate for deferred acceptances.
  10. I registered for June 7th. Are you a transfer student?
  11. Anyone accepted students register for SSIPs?
  12. Hey NurseLaur97, I just set up my student account today, did you receive your email yet?
  13. I've decided that I'm going to commute since the school isn't that far away from me, and also on campus housing is not that expensive, but is going to come back to bite you. WOW, THAT WAS QUICK. Usually people wait for their financial aid to kick in, but it seems like UMSON is your dream school. My whole goal of going to there is to pay as little money as I can, and not take any loans. I've done some calculations and living in Fayette Square for all 4 semesters is estimated around $21,000, however tuition and fees for all four semester is also estimated around $33,000. Therefore, you should think about that.
  14. Thank You Very Much, I'll gladly do that. I got into Shady Grove at first, but asked them to switch me to Baltimore and they did (So Happy). I'm a transfer student at PGCC and going to finish up my last two electives during the summer. Overall GPA: 3.9 Science GPA: 4.0 TEAS Score: 85% TEAS Percentile: 95% I know that everyone is frustrated by getting in, but there's soo much stuff you have to do after you're accepted. Quick Question: I went to the Open House on April 1st and the lady said that Guaranteed Pathway students are required to take an additional Micro course because it's mandatory at UMCP. Is that true?
  15. I got the merit scholarship yesterday. Did you receive the email after they received your mail with payment receipt and acceptance letter? BTW CONGRATS!!! Did you get into Baltimore or Shady Grove? And may I ask about your Stats?
  16. Hi Again, Quick Question: Did anyone else receive the merit scholarship email? Also for accepted students, how did you create your student account? Thanx
  17. OMG!!! I'm still waiting for my acceptance letter. Does it say when the acceptance fee is due anywhere on your letter? Also, can I was what your stats were? THANX!
  18. Hey Guys, I just wanted to share something that a first year student said at the open house. He said that out of the 100 seats available at the Baltimore campus, he was one of the only 7 males in the whole class. Just something to think about...
  19. @Frenchfry1313 I'm very sorry to hear the bad news, I was surprised with how much volunteer experince you've accumulated throughout the years, as well as your high TEAS score. I hope you have any back up schools you're still considering?
  20. Yes, I feel like Baltimore campus has better experiences and resources, however the teaching quality may be different. I don't know, ever since undergrad I've always wanted to get into the Baltimore campus, so why blow this chance. Also, I'm not tryna bring down Shady Grove, but it's just my personal preference.
  21. Hey Guys, First off I just wanna say good luck to all those still waiting, I hope you all get in. Second, I received my phone-call from UMSON today about my admittance. I just want to say that they're soo nice and allowed me to switch from the Shady Grove campus to Baltimore. They're soo easy to talk to. Third, they told me that they sometimes "over-admit" applicants just to compensate for deferred-acceptances. You're Welcome
  22. Hey ConMetas, What are you stats? Thank You
  23. Yupp. I believe they're only sending out the people that are "Provisional-Admit", not the "Wait-listed" or "Rejected" yet.
  24. Hello Guys, I just want to say that I'm pretty sure that they're releasing decisions at a slow rate. I just called my friend that goes to the same community college as me, and she got Provisional-Admit an hour ago. So, just make sure to keep checking your application. Your Welcome, Hope that helped
  25. Hello MaleNurse2533, That's the last thing you want to do, you always want to have a Plan B.
