Hey, the critical thinking exam basically just gives you a bunch of nursing scenarios asking what you would do. It doesn't really mean anything but you will be taking the same exam when you graduate to show you the progress you've made. It can't hurt...

@AmbitiousNurse30 yeah orientation is May 1st. A couple people here are saying that they see one or two of their classes in the schedule tab on the portal website, maybe you could give that a look.

@simiri I worked as an aide at a Physical Therapy facility but I can't recall if I ever made them aware of that fact. I don't think that prior medical experience holds any weight in their decision. My advice is to score high on the SLE, crush the HES...

@zolojan: During your appointment when they schedule your HESI exam, they tell you to buy the book from the bursar's. It was $32 if I'm not mistaken. They also provide a free HESI review class taught by Professor Kramer that I think you're required t...

@Simply_milan: Honestly, the best way to do it is to let your entrance exam scores do the talking for you. Score so high on them that there's no way that they can't let you in. On the SLE try to get a 30 or above and on the HESI get at least a 90/90 ...

Ladii: Yeah I think it was $25. I remember I paid it at the little bursar window next to the main lobby. Zolojan: Oh okay good luck with your degree! Just remember its first come first serve so its better to get your paperwork in sooner rather than l...

Right after you pass your Wonderlic exam, you make an appointment to submit your application. The same day you give in your application, they schedule your HESI exam. After you pass the HESI exam and get your results, they schedule your interview. A...

Yeah how long has it been since you placed the transcript order? If anything, just order an official copy, pick it up, and hand deliver it to the school. Just give it a couple more days though :)

I ended up doing okay, I got a 96% on the Math and 95% on the English. I guess my mind was really focused on the ones I got wrong that day haha. Got my fingers crossed, hoping to get that call soon!
