Processing time for IENs applying to CLPN

Hi all,

I am a nurse scheduled for SEC this coming September 2013 by CARNA. Undortunately the funding was cut so it has been stopped. Until now there are no concretw decisions yet on what they plan to do with the applicants.

I am planning to apply as an LPN with CLPN while they still haven't figured things out (CARNA). My question is, has anyone applied in CLPN lately? How long is the processing time? I already have all the needed documents. I am just weighing my options first before I send them in.

Any ideas?

Im frustrated and desperate :)

    With CLPN are you referring to the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)?

    As for me, I did apply for registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) and I received the assessment results 5 weeks from the time I completed all the requirements.
