Processing RN and LVN license application at the same time

Can I process both the RN and LVN licensure by examination at the same time? I currently live in California. Do you guys think itis possible? I had one person tell me I can't do that but I don't think there would be any problem processing those at the same time. I can't see any forum regarding this matter. Please help! Thank you.

Same state?

I am curious as to why anyone would want to do this? The exams are horrible and expensive. Why do you want both licenses?

Same state?

Im a foreign grad. We need to take classes before we can sit in for nclex rn in california.. So took the lvn to save some money before i move to newyork. Yeah it's expensive and i wasted time waiting for the process but i hope everything will be worth it.
