How do you all remember the information regarding, how many hours before the procedure to not eat anything PO etc?
Is there one general timeline that applies to any procedures and surgeries? Coz it's so confusing to remember different timeline for different procedures. Any suggestions? Please help.
Thank you so much.
You understand what I'm saying right guys? For example, no food and fluids except water 8 hours prior to so and so test etc...How to remember the info?

It used to be a blanket rule, no food after midnight, then has slowly progressed. If you go by the nothing for eight hours before, you should be okay.
But there are many exceptions to this rule. Most medications, especially cardiac and blood pressure are not held; unless specifically stated to do so.
To hold some of them, can actually cause more issues for your patient later on.
