Does anyone know of any lenders still doing direct to consumer private student loans? I don't have a co-signer, and have good credit. I had no problem at all getting the money I needed last semester, but now, I can't seem to find anyone willing to lend me anything w/o a co-signer.
HELP!

They do say that it's possible to get a private student loan without a cosigner, although I don't know what the requirements are.
I hope Congress makes banks start doing student loans at a greater volume as a condition of all the bucks we taxpayers are handing over to the banks; dang, they should be doing something for that "bailout" money!

I also recommend Chase. I just got a loan without a cosigner and the funds were sent directly to me.
